GRC-20 Needs Developer Feedback!

Help shape the future of GRC-20, the new data spec being tested as the future of data interoperability by following these three steps:

1. Read the GRC-20 announcement and watch Yaniv Tal’s workshop on GRC-20.

2: Read the GRC-20 spec.

3: Share your thoughts on these questions in The Graph Forum:

Does the current GRC-20 spec...

  • have the best way of representing IDs?
  • have the right native types?
  • need parquet files?
  • make the right tradeoffs regarding validation?

EthGlobal Bangkok Winners

Congratulations to the incredible winners of ETHGlobal Bangkok 2024, who showcased groundbreaking projects powered by The Graph’s. Here’s a look at the top teams and their projects!

🏆 Grand Prize – Best Use of The Graph: Perkly

Perkly bridges Web2 shopping with Web3 rewards by offering tokens, NFTs, lucky draws, and dynamic perks like Flash Fridays. The team deployed multiple subgraphs with advanced features like time-series data and full-text search. Built by Eugene, Aden, and Jeng.

🥈 Runner-Up: Noodles.fun

Noodles.fun lets users speculate on creators’ visibility on X and purchase direct exposure through featured posts. They leveraged Scaffold-ETH with Enums for efficient calculations. Built by @PautardR @MaxMartelo @mickael_btc and @AnthonyGourraud

🥉 3rd Prize: DegenOS

DegenOS is a decentralized OS offering six Web3 tools like DeFi metrics, token swaps, and social lookups, powered by Uniswap data indexing. Built by @prathmeshr14, @mBinCrypto, @SuriPuri23 and @KaushtubhAgraw1

🥉 3rd Prize: Tontine Money

Tontine reimagines community savings in emerging markets, helping users save, earn rewards, and build financial habits via MiniPay and Telegram. @slovaye, @thibault_mthh, @abena_eth, Gabriel and Pierre

🏅 Best Substreams: Miracam

Miracam mints verified image NFTs using hardware-generated signatures and encrypted wallet-controlled storage for privacy. The team used Substreams to enrich on-chain metadata. Built by @janellenjj, @junyaoc_eth, @yikkai95 and @NgYongFeng98

The Scaffold-ETH Subgraph Extension

Did you know that Scaffold-ETH has an extension designed specifically to enable subgraphs?

Join Edge & Node DevRel Kevin Jones in this Scaffold-ETH workshop to learn how to build with Scaffold-ETH and its subgraph extension. NOTE: The subgraph extension segment starts at the 55-minute mark.

Subgraph Composition is Coming…

Subgraphs as a datasource?

Subgraphs built on top of other subgraphs?

Yes please!

Take a sneak-peek at a beta repository featuring subgraph composition and stay tuned for launch.

Delete Your Unused Subgraphs

We can now clean up our subgraph dashboard by deleting unused subgraphs! Give it a go and tidy up your workspace.

About The Graph

The Graph  is the leading indexing and query protocol powering the decentralized internet. Since launching in 2018, it has empowered tens of thousands of developers to effortlessly build  Subgraphs  and leverage  Substreams  across countless blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Celo, Soneium, and Avalanche. With powerful tools like Substreams and Token API, The Graph delivers high-performance, real-time access to onchain data. From low-latency indexing to rapid token data, it serves as the premier solution for building composable, data drive dapps.
