gm web3 builders,
Welcome to The Graph Builders Newsletter #19 for July 2024! 🏗️
Introducing The GraphDevs Twitter Account
It’s time for Core Devs who are building The Graph to have a twitter feed of their own!
Give the account a follow to stay in the loop for developer-related updates surrounding The Graph!
Deprecation of L1 Incoming
The Graph’s protocol smart contracts have transitioned from being deployed on Ethereum (L1) to Arbitrum One (L2), which means activity involving The Graph on L1 .
Please transfer any operations involving The Graph to Arbitrum!
Read the to learn more about The Graph moving to Arbitrum.
Newly Supported Chains
The Graph Network now has 50+ chains supported! Here are the newly supported chains that were added in July:
- Gravity (Galxe) Mainnet and Testnet
- Etherlink Mainnet
- IoTeX Testnet
- Sei-Atlantic
EthGlobal Brussels Hackathon Winners
With 38 projects submitting to The Graph bounties, ETHGlobal Brussels was a huge success! Take a look at these hackathon projects that took home prizes for building on The Graph!
Best new subgraph(s)
Friend Fries took advantage of the wristband NFC chips during the hackathon and developed a platform that allows users to create and complete bounties in real time.
RugStop used V4 of Pancakeswap and a highly customized subgraph to achieve a build that prevents users from being scammed.
🥉2nd runner up: (Also top 10 finalist!)
AdFHE created a subgraph to index and access ad and advertiser data on Arbitrum, including target audience and total ad spend.
Best use of existing subgraph(s)
LemonPay is a payroll system designed to reflect the dynamic growth of any onchain organization with intuitive dashboards powered by subgraphs.
DeFiDataDex created a powerful marketplace for datasets powered by both onchain data that comes from subgraphs as well as offchain data to fuel AI data consumption.

Best New Substreams
SwapX created a fast online processing pipeline using substreams for real time analytics of swap traffic and classification of different transactions in real time.

About The Graph
is the source of data and information for the decentralized internet. As the original decentralized data marketplace that introduced and standardized subgraphs, The Graph has become web3’s method of indexing and accessing blockchain data. Since its launch in 2018, tens of thousands of developers have for dapps across 70+ blockchains - including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Celo, Fantom, Gnosis, and Avalanche.
As demand for data in web3 continues to grow, The Graph enters a with a more expansive vision including new data services and query languages, ensuring the decentralized protocol can serve any use case - now and into the future.
